Many people are getting infected with corona virus and people from medical stream are trying in many ways to get rid of this virus, but due to different variants no one is able to get the right solution or medicine to cure.
As we all know that “Prevention is better than Cure”, Lets check the precautions to take from getting infected.
The basic precaution is to improve immunity levels in our body.
Since this virus is infecting weak persons, maintaining immunity levels is the main thing we need to focus on.
Maintaining healthy lifestyle and eating healthy food are the two major points that are to be considered now.
What to do when you get to know that you have coronavirus within 1-2 days?
I wrote some precautions to follow when you have covid.
Keep your sugar levels low.
Check the blood sugar level and keep it as low as possible.
The lower the sugar level, the more you will be recovering from this virus.
Virus is gaining strength through the sugar levels in our body.
So, keep sugar levels low or under control.
If possible, do intermittent fasting.
This will make you recover as soon as possible from this virus.
If you are weak or under medication or cannot do fasting, then stop eating rice, carbohydrate rich foods, fried items, decrease carbohydrate content and increase protein content.
Thereby improving your healing power which results in reducing the virus activity.
Keep your body warm not inside but outside.
When you have heat inside your body you will feel fever and through tablets you can reduce the inside heat.
Keep your body warm outside like bath with warm water twice a day, cover with blanket or wear a jerkin.
The virus activity reduces when your body is warm enough outside.
Improve Immunity levels.
Improve immunity levels in your body and zinc is the main component which you need to consume to improve immunity.
Consume zinc twice a day during infection to improve immunity and recover as soon as possible.
Next component which you need to consider the most is the vitamin c.
Vitamin c has healing power and it heals the damaged organs as well.
So, consume vitamin c as much as possible.
Vitamin D is another most important vitamin that helps in reducing the inflammations in our body.
When you have high fever, there are high chances that you have low levels of vitamin D.
Do not feel stress.
Out of all these, the most important thing to be considered is not to feel stressed or give stress to your body.
Your body is already suffering from oxidative stress while fighting with this virus, so don’t give much stress to your body.
Be relaxed. Do meditation daily for at least half an hour.
Do exercises, yoga, keep yourself active and positive.
The pre-covid precautions I listed below are already known to all of us but somehow mentioned here.
- Keep your hands clean. Wash your hands with soap often.
- Maintain distance from other people when in contact.
- Wear a mask and it is mandatory when you go outside or come in contact with anyone.
- Do not touch your nose, eyes, mouth with your hands.
- Check your oxygen levels at home with pulse oximeter most often.
- If you observe any fluctuation, consider it and take necessary action.
- Maintain your surroundings clean.
- Practice meditation, slow & deep breathing, yoga daily that will bring you relief from stress.
- Improve immunity levels in your body and control sugar levels.
- Exercise daily.
- Consume fruits and vegetables to get vitamins naturally.
- Eat healthy food.
- Be strong physically as well as mentally.
- Do not panic if you know that you have infection.
- Be confident that you will get recovered soon.
- Follow doctor’s medication regularly pre and post covid.
Important points to remember
- If you have mild fever, sore throat, cold etc. look for online doctor consultation or seek your family doctor consultation immediately.
- Do not neglect these mild symptoms.
- Take blood tests and HR CT scans only as per doctor recommendation to check the level of infection in your body.
- It is not good to take CT scans more than once as the radiation evolved through the machine will affect your body a lot.
- Doctor will prescribe the medication based on your test results.
- Do not follow medication without doctor consultation.
- Treatment and medication vary from person to person and depends on the severity of the infection.
- Do not use medicines on your own.
When we are psychologically strong, there are very high chances to get recovered from infections.
Now we have vaccine to avoid this infection to some extent.
So, make sure you get vaccinated as soon as possible when you are not infected.
When infected, there is certain time period to get vaccinated after recovery.
Educate your people about the vaccination and its importance and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
For all the things happening in the world, there is a hope and a solution.
